Mythography is Iconics

In his structuralist description of myth as a second-order writing, Roland Barthes provided the basic principle of iconics: to compose new meanings out of existing signs.

What natural language is to literacy, the infoverse of recorded documents (sound text image) is to electracy: the basic vocabulary of a collage/montage authoring. The construction of a pictionary is underway, some of the processes of which are noted here.
